Patna: The Food Safety Department has taken action against bakery and cake establishments across Patna district after inspections uncovered expired. The department destroyed expired and unfit food items worth thousands of rupees on-site, suspended the licence of The Cake's Delight in Jakkanpur and ordered Winni Retails Pvt. in Badi Pahadi to remain closed for three days with immediate effect. Other establishments were issued notices directing them to address the deficiencies.
