The issue came to light after Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the name of a man had been entered multiple times in the Azamgarh voter list. The Samajwadi Party had alleged that the name of a person was registered 10 times in the electoral roll of Azamgarh constituency.
