More than 100 women blocked the Kushakala-Rourkela road in Singpur village under Banspal block in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Saturday morning to protest the failure of the government’s Vasudha drinking water project. Carrying pots and pitchers, the protestors disrupted traffic which left hundreds of vehicles stranded on both sides of the road.
