Patanjali Foods has received a recall order for a batch of cow ghee in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, after food safety authorities classified it as "unsafe" under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The company said it will appeal the order and that there is no material impact on its financial or operational activities, except for the value of the affected batch.
