Air India has thanked Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay for slashing Value Added Tax on Aviation Turbine Fuel from 29 per cent to 16, as it will help reduce operating costs and improve air connectivity within the state. The Tamil Nadu government has significantly reduced VAT on aviation turbine fuel across all airports in the state, offering relief to airlines amid sky-high crude prices.
