ED has provisionally attached 14.51 acres of land worth Rs 85.20 crore in Kolkata in the Unity Infraprojects bank fraud case, taking total attachments to Rs 1,609 crore. During the ongoing money laundering probe, investigators revealed that funds originating from Unity Infraprojects Limited were routed through its wholly owned subsidiary, Unity Realty and Developers Limited. These diverted proceeds were subsequently utilized to acquire and hold immovable assets through various associated entities.
