Gujarat and Scotland signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Friday to strengthen cooperation in renewable energy, sports, trade and investment, education, research and cultural exchange. Chief minister Bhupendra Patel proposed a state delegation’s visit to Scotland to study its expertise in offshore energy. Gujarat and Scotland sign MoUs in Gandhinagar to expand economic, cultural and people-to-people ties, with cooperation in trade, innovation and renewable energy.
