The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) cleared 267.55 metric tonnes of waste generated at various Dasara event venues between October 11 and 22. According to MCC Commissioner MK Savitha, the waste collected included 148.46 metric tonnes of wet waste and 119.09 metric tonnes of dry waste. The Food Mela alone generated 161.55 metric tonnes of waste, including 136.55 metric tonnes of wet food waste.
