MANILA, Philippines – The Senate hopes the House of Representatives will follow the example of the upper chamber as it considers cutting its 2027 budget by P2 billion, Sen. Panfilo Lacson said on Friday. The Senate proposed reducing its 2027 budget by about P2 billion from the P7.7 billion allocation in the National Expenditure Program.
