A massive power crisis has struck several parts of Haryana, including Gurugram, Faridabad, and Nuh, following a three-day strike called by around 40,000 electricity department employees. The agitation stems from employee unions opposing the granting of a power distribution licence to a private company. The disruption plunged residential colonies and industrial units into darkness from late evening, leaving thousands of consumers without electricity.
