Power cuts hit several parts of Gurugram and Faridabad as Haryana electricity employees and engineers began a three-day statewide strike on October 22, according to several reports. Industrial units in key areas of Gurugram, including Daulatabad, Kadipur and Sector 37, were also affected by power cuts. The employees are on strike to protest against privatisation of power distribution in Haryana.
