It has some of the most disgusting scenes ever seen in Indian cinema: Tharoor on 'Dhurandhar 2'. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor criticised the violence in 'Dhurandhar 2', saying it featured "some of the most disgusting scenes ever seen in Indian cinema". Calling the bloodshed "totally excessive and over the top", he said there was no need for so much "violence, blood, mayhem, cruelty". However, Tharoor praised the sequel overall as "superb" and its plot twists.
