Padmini Kolhapure and Poonam Dhillon won CINTAA's executive committee polls on October 20, after 11 members resigned in August, citing abuse of power. Following the row, FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) ordered fresh polls, held on September 12, which members Upasana Singh and Sahila Chadha won. Poonam and Padmini challenged FWICE's intervention and held new elections again.
