Why can't Mumbai Police get custody of Lawrence & Anmol Bishnoi. Lawrence Bishnoi and Anmol Bishnoi, lodged in Sabarmati Jail and Tihar Jail, respectively, cannot be taken into Mumbai Police custody due to Ministry of Home Affairs order that bars agencies from taking them out of jail. Any court order requiring them to be produced has no effect while the orders remain in force. However, they can be questioned inside jail.
