Mumbai wakes up to hazy skies, AQI reaches 'unhealthy' category. Mumbai's air quality worsened over past few days and reached "unhealthy" category on Monday, NDTV Profit reported. The city woke up to hazy skies and reduced visibility as AQI stood at 161 at noon. A thick layer of smog blanketed parts of the city, including Bandra Reclamation. AQI was at 127 on Sunday, 120 on Saturday and 99 on Friday.
