India signs ₹4,106 cr deals for GSAT-7C, Varunastra. India's Ministry of Defence signed contracts worth ₹4,106 crore for GSAT-7C satellite (₹2,563 cr) with New Space India Limited for the Indian Air Force, and Varunastra torpedoes (₹1,543 cr) with Bharat Dynamics Limited for the Indian Navy. Both are indigenously developed systems, aligned with India's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiative.
