Mass shooting at Hindu temple in US thwarted after 19-year-old's gun jams. A planned mass shooting attempt at a Hindu temple in Aurora, Illinois, was thwarted after 19-year-old Alexandros Paporakis's gun jammed and his co-worker alerted police, prosecutors said. Paporakis, who works at Taco Bell, allegedly told his co-worker that "he wanted to kill Indians". He also allegedly sent an eight-page document to his co-worker in which he called Indians "subhumans".
