Karnataka records 2.04 crore rural job days under new scheme. Karnataka generated 2.04 crore person-days of employment under VB-G RAM G job scheme between July 1 and October 13. The figure compares with 1.71 crore person-days during same period last year under MGNREGA. Raichur led with 24 lakh person-days, followed by Bidar and Koppal. Karnataka issued 87,164 new job cards this year. Eligible rural families can receive 125 workdays annually.
