Egypt vows 'any kind' of support for Saudi amid Houthi attacks. Egypt has vowed to provide "any kind" of support to Saudi Arabia amid its ongoing conflict with Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis. "Whatever is being asked by the Saudis...we will respond," said Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty. He added that his country is also considering joining the Mecca Pact, the joint defence agreement between Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Pakistan.
