Forceful land acquisition for bullet train is illegal: Minister. Union Minister GK Reddy has warned that any land acquisition being carried out in the name of three proposed high-speed rail corridors connecting Hyderabad with Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune is illegal at this stage. Reddy has said that land acquisition for the proposed high-speed rail corridors is unauthorised at this stage because the Centre has not sent formal requisitions to state governments.
