IMD predicts rain in parts of state next week, Dussehra to remain dry. The India Meteorological Department on Friday said a low-pressure area would very likely form over the Bay of Bengal around Oct 13, triggering rainfall in parts of the state next week, though the major five days of Durga Puja are likely to remain dry. This low-pressure system is expected to develop under the influence of a cyclonic circulation, currently in the Gulf.
