TV channels wanted me to make fun of Katrina over her Hindi, recalls Maniesh Paul. TV host and actor Maniesh Paul revealed that some TV channels had asked him to mock Katrina Kaif over her Hindi-speaking skills during her early Bollywood days. Stating that he refused to do so, Maniesh added, "Instead, I'd tell them, 'You want fun, right?...I'll get it done...but in my style.' It's not mandatory to...ridicule [someone]...to make people laugh," he said.
