Udupi traffic police await ₹40 lakh in pending ANPR fines. The Udupi district police are yet to collect nearly ₹40 lakh in traffic fines generated through Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras, with 6,980 challans remaining unpaid since the system was introduced on May 20. According to the traffic police, a total of 11,797 challans have been generated for violations.
