Nana once feared heart attack while performing Natsamrat on stage. After actor Nana Patekar's death, his old remarks about Natsamrat have resurfaced. Nana once said he believed he could have died of a heart attack. "All the actors who played the lead in the play Natsamrat died of heart attacks. I too would have died of a heart attack after 25 shows," he had said.
