Yaduveer backs full-scale Mysuru Dasara despite drought. Mysuru and Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar on Wednesday backed CM DK Shivakumar’s statement that Mysuru Dasara celebrations should not be scaled down despite the drought. He said that the annual festival plays a major role in the city’s economy, particularly tourism, hospitality, transport and retail, and supports the livelihoods of thousands of people.
