India has cheapest data globally, 1 GB costs ₹8: Union Minister Scindia. Union Minister for Communication, Jyotiraditya Scindia, said India has the cheapest data capability globally, while speaking at the 10th Indian Mobile Congress on Thursday. He added that 1 GB costs only ₹8 in India and that the country has 550 million 5G users. Scindia further said the government's target is to increase 5G users to 1 billion by 2030.
