The Cauvery Aarti at the Krishnarajasagara (KRS) Dam in Mandya, Karnataka, originally scheduled for October 11, has been postponed due to Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s prior commitments. The event will now be held from October 18 to October 25. The state government introduced the Cauvery Aarti last year to honour the river, drawing inspiration from the famous Ganga Aarti.
