What happened in the hours leading up to Nana Patekar's death. Nana Patekar passed away aged 75 following cardiac arrest at his Goa residence. According to Dr Shekhar Salkar, Patekar texted his friend about being unwell at 2:30 am. After reaching his house at 4 am, Patekar's friend found him sweating and losing consciousness. His caretaker then reached hospital to fetch an ambulance but he was brought dead at 4:30 am.
