RBI absorbs ₹2.10 lakh cr via overnight VRRR auctions. RBI absorbed ₹2,10,192 crore from the banking system on Monday through two overnight VRRR auctions amid surplus liquidity of ₹5.16 lakh crore. The first auction saw bids of ₹2,10,688 crore, while the second drew only ₹10,142 crore. Excess liquidity stems from FCNR(B) deposit inflows and government month-end expenditure.
