Owaisi says Muslims not SP's 'personal property', offers alliance ahead of UP polls. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said Muslims in UP or the 20 crore Muslims across India are not "personal property" of SP or political parties of the I.N.D.I.A bloc. He offered an alliance to SP ahead of the 2027 UP Assembly elections to prevent BJP from returning to power. Owaisi added AIMIM will contest independently if SP rejects its offer.
