BJP corporator Makarand Narwekar has sought demolition of the ‘Aspirational’ toilet opposite Lion Gate in Colaba, alleging it obstructs pedestrians and violates the BMC’s ‘Pedestrian First’ policy. He proposed an underground public convenience with an air-conditioned art café and modern amenities. The BMC says demolition is under consideration.
