A 55-year-old scooter rider, Santosh Singh Chauhan, was killed after a speeding Mahindra Thar, allegedly driven by a woman learning to drive, rammed his vehicle in Kanpur on Diwali eve. The SUV crashed through a residential boundary wall, while its three occupants reportedly abandoned the vehicle and fled in another car.
