Harichand Jat, alias Hari Boxer, wanted in 22 criminal cases in Rajasthan, was detained in the US after a multi-country investigation involving Indian and international agencies. The operation was carried out under the directions of Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Kumar Sharma as part of the state police's sustained campaign against organised criminal networks.
