A half-burnt body of a 60-year-old woman was recovered from the banks of Nuabasa river under Bangiriposhi police station limits in Mayurbhanj district on Saturday morning. The deceased was identified as Malati Kar of Golamundakata village. Law enforcement and judicial authorities are examining the evidence and procedural records linked to the matter.
