A resort bartender's creative cocktail recipe was inspired by the flavors of a traditional Mexican dessert: Carlota de Limón. My friend and I were staying at the Dreams Estrella del Mar in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, for a few days to check out the hotel and all its amenities. After the nightly show, we stopped by the bar for a drink and tasted what would ultimately be the most memorable part of the trip.
