In a move aimed at resolving long-standing drainage choking, backflow and leakage problems in eastern Ahmedabad, the city civic body has connected the existing 600mm diameter rising line of the Jivanwadi drainage pumping station in Thakkarbapanagar to a newly laid trunk main line using micro-tunnelling technology.
