Festive shoppers and passengers headed to their hometowns triggered widespread traffic congestion across Delhi on Friday. Roads near major markets, railway stations and bus terminals faced bottlenecks, while illegal parking added to the problem. Police deployed additional personnel and cranes as commuters reported long delays, including on the DND Road and in Sadar Bazar.
