Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced the launch of portals for pillars 2, 3 and 4 under Semicon 2.0. He stated that the portals will accept only complete applications, ensuring participation from serious industry players with long-term commitments. He also emphasised that India's mobile phone, electronics component and semiconductor manufacturing programmes will prioritise companies with technological expertise and a commitment to contributing to the country's growth.
