The move comes as the two airports' operator, Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, prepares to redevelop the existing airport, even as a month-long standoff with foreign airlines over relocating their operations remains unresolved. Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL), controlled by the Adani group, plans to unilaterally shift international flights to 14 destinations from Mumbai airport to Navi Mumbai airport if airlines.
