Star Wars will mark its 50th anniversary next year, and the Vancouver Canucks are getting in on the celebrations. The first film in the science-fiction franchise was released in theatres on May 25, 1977. The Canucks will be celebrating the anniversary a little bit early, holding their Star Wars Night on Jan. 14 when they face the Seattle Kraken at Rogers Arena.
