Official announcement released by Government of India via Press Information Bureau (PIB). Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, 2,576 government buildings linked to the Ministry of Finance have been successfully solarised. They have achieved a total rooftop solar capacity of 61.50 MW. Under the Scheme, of the 4,144 buildings identified, a total of 2,576 Government buildings have been solarised, with an installed rooftop solar capacity of 61.50 MW.
