A Vancouver Sport Chek store is set to close, following a number of other locations closing in recent months. The franchise’s store on Southwest Marine Drive, at 8125 Ontario St., has bright yellow “store closing” signs posted on the windows, advertising an “inventory liquidation sale,” with most items posted at 30 per cent off. It is open daily between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to its website.
