Indian equity benchmarks opened in the green on Thursday. Overnight, the US Markets rallied on Democrats midterm win. Meanwhile, oil prices have also slipped below $95 per barrel. At the open, Sensex gained 1,300 points while the Nifty was up over 350 points. Meanwhile, the rupee strengthened 29 paise to 94.36 against the US dollar, compared to Wednesday's close of 94.65 a dollar.
