Firecrackers exceeding the 55-decibel noise limit are being sold openly in Nagpur despite restrictions. Even dangerous crackers such as ‘sutali bombs’ are available in shops. The Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court on Wednesday directed the concerned Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) to take action against sellers violating the rules.
