Pilgrim’s Pride Corporation will launch on Thursday its US $40 million El Porvenir plant in Gómez Palacio, Durango. The project is part of Pilgrim’s broader plans to invest $1.3 billion in Mexico between 2026 and 2030 under the Sheinbaum government’s Plan México economic strategy, which is expected to increase production by more than 373,000 metric tonnes and generate over 4,000 direct and 16,000 indirect jobs.
