The Paradip Port Authority (PPA) and the Odisha government are reportedly planning to develop an International Cruise Terminal in Puri with an estimated investment of Rs 1,500 crore. Union Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announced the proposal on Tuesday. Speaking at the ministry’s consultative committee meeting in Puri, Sonowal outlined the Centre’s ambitious maritime targets.
