Panvel Municipal Corporation has urged residents to minimise firecracker use and celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali under Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan 7.0. Commissioner Mangesh Chitale highlighted the harmful effects of firecracker pollution on health, wildlife and the environment. The civic body is promoting cleaner celebrations through awareness campaigns and public participation.
