AMC’s town planning committee on Wednesday approved the draft Ahmedabad Sustainable Demolition Policy 2026, proposing tighter safety, pollution-control and debris-disposal rules for demolition work across the city. The draft will go to the standing committee for approval. Ahmedabad demolition rules propose seven-day notice, safety nets, dust controls and stricter construction-waste disposal for redevelopment sites.
