660 new electric buses will be rolled out progressively from end-2026. The deployment is a step forward in making half of Singapore's public bus fleet electric by 2030. Bus captains will be supported by an advanced driver assistance system with surround-view cameras, collision warnings and anti-fatigue monitoring. New displays at the back of the buses will also alert other road users when the bus is stopping or moving off.
