Employment data for the second quarter of 2026 does not suggest that S Pass and Employment Pass holders displaced resident workers, said Acting Manpower Minister Jasmin Lau in parliament on Wednesday (Nov 4). In administrative and support services, increases in S Pass and Employment Pass employment and declines in resident employment were driven by different subsectors.
